Ever hear the advice, "Never take a wooden nickel."? Well here's a wooden nickel you'll want to take.  These are a great promotional product for retailers to give out at community events, local tradeshows or even on the street corner. The nickels get people in the store and once they're in the store, customers will go ahead and buy something, since they're already getting something for free. I like the wooden nickels better than coupons because they cut through the clutter and are memborable. We are inundated with coupons in the mail, newspapers and email. Coupons get placed in the wallet, mixed in with bills and receipts, and are forgotten. But wooden nickels take up space in the wallet or pocket and have to be used. The best part about these promotional items is they are reusable. When a customer redeems it, the retailer can use the nickel again. Thus, cutting the cost of the promotional product in half. You can't say that about coupons! |
